ARMOURS

ARMOURS is a three piece electronic act formed late 2025 in Stockholm, Sweden, by designer Håkan Ängquist, coder Thomas Isberg and artist Bengt Rahm.

The band draws inspiration from the Synthpop, Post-punk and Electronic Body Music scenes of the 80s, mixing drum machines, vintage analogue synths and industrial samples with baritone vocals. Influences ranges from EBM inventors Nitzer Ebb, Front 242 and DAF to post-punk pioneers Joy Division and pop auteurs Pet Shop Boys and Bronski Beat, as well as contemporary acts like Cold Cave, Kite, Boy Harsher, Kontravoid, Light Asylum and Linda Aspera.
